Jim has been working hard to keep his show prices down and find innovative ways to help schools save money. The simplest way he has found, with the best result, is a student raffle for an autograph basketball. To make this event most effective, Jim sign’s a glossy blue and orange ball with a metallic marker. It is a unique, eye-catching basketball that cannot be obtained any other way than the school raffle. Some schools have generated more money than the assembly cost!

This is an optional program made available at the school’s request. The only cost to the school is the wholesale cost of the ball of $15.00. Jim will introduce the raffle at the end of the assembly. The most successful schools sell a raffle ticket for a quarter or an “arms length” of tickets for a dollar.

An additional benefit of the raffle is the anticipation and excitement it builds about the assembly. It is a win-win situation for the school. The school generates money to offset the cost of the show while keeping its message on the minds of the kids. Jim does not profit from the raffle at all. It is simply a method to help schools offset the cost of the show, allowing more kids see Jim’s outstanding school assembly.
