WOW! The Jim "Basketball" Jones assembly was amazing. Jim engaged all the students and staff with his awesome tricks and sayings. He had lots of crowd participation. The gym was filled with laughter during the dancing part. The best assembly we have hard by far! Thank you for encouraging our students!

I just had the pleasure of seeing an assembly at our elementary school Afterwards, I overheard a little girl say "that was the BEST hour of my life!!" It was great, we ALL loved it, kids and adults! Thank you for coming to "R" school!

We love having the Jim Basketball Jones assembly every year at Tallmadge Elementary School! With our student body including grade kindergarten through 5th grade, he does an amazing job of adapting his positive messages to the audience. Jim was AMAZING!! Kept the attention of all the K-5 kids for the entire assembly. The kids and the staff loved him, some even said that it was the best assembly they’ve ever been to! We look forward to booking him again next year!

Jim's assembly at Trinity was excellent. Being an educator myself for 30 plus years, I was so impressed how engaged the students from 8th grade all the way down to kindergarten were. Jim has great energy and was great with getting the students involved with the basketballs and contests. But Jim has an even more amazing ability of delivering his message to the students of being kind, working hard, and making all students feel special. I am the Co-pto President at my sons’ elementary school. We had Jim as our Spring Assembly. He was truly an inspiration to our students and our staff. He was motivating and had lots of audience participation. The kids and adults listened attentively and were so impressed by Jim. He was a pleasure to work with. We will definitely have him back again in the future.

Jim “Basketball” Jones was an AMAZING motivational speaker for not just our kids at Myers Elementary School in Grand Blanc MI but he left us as educators a message too! He entertained the kids with his basketball skills but also talked about being kind & letting them know they were good, no matter what struggles they faced! He left teachers with a message too, showing us some great attention getters & some great echo chants! His humor left not just the kids energized but the staff felt his passion too! He is a “must” for any school & its team of educators! Thank you, Mr. Jones for the lessons you shared!

This was hands down the best school assembly I have ever witnessed! We had the the Jim Basketball Jones assembly for the past two years (not the current school year), and at the last assembly my second grade class won a Yeti at the dance off. This little guy became a treasure in our classroom. He became a member of our class family. Even this school year, I used the Yeti to help teach my students about not being able to do something "Yet"i. He helps with their confidence and reminds them that a powerful mindset is one of the most important tools you can have. Our Yeti went missing this year, and the kids were distraught. They made missing posters to hang up, and asked everyday if anyone in school had responded to our message offering a reward for his return. Finally our wonderful secretary helped to replace this important member of our class family. I am so thankful to the Jim Basketball Jones team for spreading this message to not only our kids, but also us teachers who continue to spread this powerful message each year! Thank you so much!

Jim “Basketball” Jones far exceeded our expectations when he came to speak (more like perform) in front of our K-2 & 3-6 graders. He delivered an important message all the while engaging every single student AND teacher. It was almost surreal to witness, and we all left the assembly smiling & happy. We hope to bring Mr. Jim back to our school in the future! Highly recommend!

If you are looking for an assembly that combines energy, fun, and talent with a message that actually sticks, Jim "Basketball" Jones is the best! He didn't just perform for our students, he connected with them. From the youngest Pre-K students, to our 6th graders, and even our teaching staff—everyone was locked in. He even turned test prep into a high-energy, fun-filled goal. He stripped away the testing anxiety and replaced it with a game-day mindset of focus and resilience. And his impact didn't leave when he did. The next day many students show us their band-aids and were ready to "bust their test!" We had Jim "Basketball" Jones to our school. We service special Ed students from 18 to 26 years in age and I have to say I have never seen them so engaged and having so much fun. He was so wonderful we will definitely have him back again and I would highly recommend him for any school assembly. He did not just get the students involved but the staff also had so much fun.

Jim “Basketball” Jones was at our elementary on Wednesday 1/21/2026. We’ve booked Jim for the last 3 years due to his popularity with our students. For the first two years, we had Jim speak towards our “Viking Way” in regards to PBIS. This year we had him speak on Growth Mindset. Our Elementary is K-5 and all grade levels enjoy and remember him. Some students even wear specific shirts hoping to get picked to win the basketball! Jim is great at interacting with everyone in the crowd and even tries to include staff in some of his activities. His messages are impactful, he’s affordable, and he’s located in Ohio which means he understands and is flexible with delays/closings. Jill, from his office, is very easy to work with too! Jim ‘Basketball’ Jones came to our elementary this morning for an assembly. His messaging was kind, motivating, full of empathy and inspiration to be better humans. Our kids sang and danced. Both staff and students were engaged the entire time. It was beautiful!

BB Jones held assemblies at several of our local schools. The assembly was super high energy, relevant with life lessons and thought points for all ages. He found several of our students with learning or life challenges and allowed them to shine in front of peers and everyone. It was beautiful.

This is our second year having Parker present to our students in grades 5 - 8. What a treat he is! His message is relevant to the audience and the students LOVE him! He tells great stories and can easily command the attention of 200+ students. He has great call-backs and focus techniques. He shares ways to build up each other, stand up for what is right, celebrate their peers, and learn leadership strategies to elevate the school culture. We love the Jim Basketball Jones School Assemblies! Parker is fabulous!.

Jim is so engaging and has a positive message. Our school loves him and has booked him several times. We will definitely have him again. We booked Jim again and he is so easy to work with. The kids loved seeing him again. The teachers love his message too.

Our staff and students loved Jim "Basketball" Jones' assembly! He was so interactive and upbeat engaging all of our students and staff. Our superintendent was there and said he had never seen staff members enjoy an assembly as much as the students. We will definitely be inviting Jim "Basketball" Jones back to our school.

We’ve had many assemblies at our school over the years and Basketball Jones is absolutely at the top of our list after his performance today. His relevance, compassion, message, energy, ability to connect with every person in the room (over 550 in our case!) and, of course, ball-handling skills is unmatched. 5 stars is simply not enough.
